Receiving Search for Animera tokens

Search for Animera tokens have been released on the Sonic network. This L1–blockchain, optimized for DeFi and scalability, is compatible with EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) and can work with all common wallets such as MetaMask, TrustWallet, etc.

To withdraw tokens from Astra Wallet you will need some Sonic coins to cover the fees of the blockchain network. Fees are paid with S coin (analog of ETH in Ethereum network).

You can buy S coins on centralized exchanges such as, OKX, Bybit, or use decentralized bridges.

Let's consider both options to get S coins and send them to Astra Wallet.

Option 1: Buy S on Bybit exchange and withdrawal directly to Astra Wallet in Sonic network.

Buying S coins will require registration and verification on the Bybit exchange and some USDT.

➡️ Register on Bybit exchange

➡️ Buy USDT on p2p Bybit

Go to Trade (1), Spot (2) and select a trading pair (3).

Enter Sonic in the search and select the S/USDT (Spot) trading pair from the results.

Do not confuse the trading pair!

Go to the Buy section and select order (Market or Limit). We recommend to choose market order for a quick buy for a small amount.

Specify the buy amount and click Buy.

Confirm the order by clicking the Buy S button.

Now you need to transfer coins from your Trading account to your Funding account for withdrawal from the exchange.

Go to Assets and click the Transfer button.

Transfer S coins from the Unified Trading Account to the Funding Account.

Next, to withdraw S coins, go to the Assets section again and click the Withdraw button.

Select S coins for withdrawal, specify the address of your Astra Wallet in the Sonic network and select the network.

Enter the amount and click Withdraw and wait for the exchange to process the transaction.

Option 2: Exchange tokens through a bridge

The Sonic network provides a few bridge options, which you can check out on the Sonic Labs website and choose any bridge you like or are familiar with.

We'll show the swap using the bridge from Symbiosis as an example.

Here are a few reasons for this choice:

- Almost any token/coin can be exchanged for an S coin (e.g. USDC on the Optimism network, ETH on the Arbitrum network, etc.)

- Almost any non-custodial wallets are available, e.g. MetaMask and withdraw S coins to Astra Wallet.

Note: When using new protocols always test send small amounts.

Let's use MetaMask wallet. Open the internal browser of the wallet and go to https://app.symbiosis.finance/swap.

Connect the wallet.

Select a wallet and click Connect.

Open the Swap section and in the first box select the cryptocurrency to be exchanged.

You can select the network and the coin you have on your wallet.

Please note: You will need “gas” to cover the fees of your chosen network. For example, on the Optimism network, this is ETH on Optimism network.

Specify the amount in the first box.

In the second box you need to select the S coin in the Sonic network.

Refer to the screenshot.

The wallet will request you to change the network if the current network does not match the selected exchange network.

Click Switch network.

Next, you need to confirm that the exchange protocol is using the tokens you selected for the exchange.

Click Approve and confirm sequentially in the wallet by first clicking Next, then Approve.

After that, click the active Swap button and confirm in the wallet.

Attention: Do not close the window until the exchange is completed.

Wait until the transaction chain is completed and the message about successful exchange appears.

Go back to Wallet and change the network to Sonic.

If the network is not set up, you can add a network manually or use a link from your browser.

How do I do this? Go to your internal browser and open a new tab.

In the address box, type in Sonic's blockchain https://sonicscan.org and scroll down to the bottom of the page.

Click 🦊Add Sonic and confirm the addition of the network in the wallet.

Next, you can withdraw S coins to your Astra Wallet.

Click on S coins and the Send button in MetaMask wallet.

Copy the address (2) of your Astra Wallet on the Sonic network (1) and paste the wallet address into the To box and click Next.

Enter the amount, click Next and Send.
