# Steps to Prepare for Receiving the Few and Far allocation
## Creating a wallet in the NEAR network in MyNearWallet
Create an account at [**https://app.mynearwallet.com**](https://app.mynearwallet.com/) or import an existing account.
Create a password of at least 8 characters to access your wallet, tick 2 checkboxes and click **Next**, then **Get Started**.
**Select the creation method** via Secure Passphrase and press **Secure My Account**.
Click Copy, save the wallet recovery phrase in a **safe place** or write it down. Then click **Continue**.
**Verify the passphrase** by entering the required verification words and click **Continue**. Enter your password.
## Retrieving your deposit address
On the main screen you see your balances on the Near network.
Tap **Receive**.
**Copy** or **scan the QR code** of the wallet address to receive coins. To receive allocation of the Few and Far project you need to specify this address in the MDAO Maker section.
## Purchasing NEAR and withdrawing crypto from MEXC to your wallet
NEAR is required to pay for blockchain network transaction fees.
You can buy NEAR on the [**MEXC**](https://promote.mexc.com/a/MDAO) exchange via the spot terminal. To do this, log in to your [**MEXC**](https://promote.mexc.com/a/MDAO) cryptocurrency exchange app and go to the Spot section or via the direct link
**Select an order** and **specify the amount** you want to buy NEAR, click Buy NEAR. We recommend buying at least 0.11 NEAR to have enough for further transactions, it is better to have a reserve.
Go to the **Wallets** section and click **Withdraw**.
Click on the **Select Crypto** box, **type NEAR** in the search or search the drop-down list immediately and click on the coin from the search results.
**Specify the NEAR withdrawal address** (which you copied earlier from MyNearWallet), **NEAR network, withdrawal amount** and click Submit.
**Confirm the withdrawal** using the additional authentication that is added to your account. You will need to provide your phone number or Google Authenticator before your first withdrawal.
## Sending Few and Far tokens to MEXC after receiving the allocation
Log in to your [**MEXC**](https://promote.mexc.com/a/MDAO) account in the **Deposits** section or via the direct link
Click on the **Select Crypto** box, **enter far** in the search or search the drop down list immediately and click on the coin from the search results.
The network must be selected NEAR. If you have not yet created an address on this network on [**MEXC**](https://promote.mexc.com/a/MDAO), tap **Click to generate the address**. Then copy your deposit address on the [**MEXC**](https://promote.mexc.com/a/MDAO) exchange for later transferring Few and Far to the exchange.
Log in to your wallet at [**https://app.mynearwallet.com**](https://app.mynearwallet.com/)
After receiving Few and Far tokens, you should see your FAR balance, and if you have already sent NEAR from the exchange to your wallet, you should also see your NEAR balance. In this case you can click on **Send**.
Click **Select Asset** and select **FAR**.
Enter the quantity or click **Use Max** and click **Continue**. Next, paste the address previously obtained on [**MEXC**](https://promote.mexc.com/a/MDAO) and click **Continue**.
