# How to Exchange TRX for MWD Using TrustWallet

To get started, you'll need to install a non-custodial wallet that supports the Tron network. Wallets like [TrustWallet](https://trustwallet.com/) or [TronLink](https://www.tronlink.org/) are suitable options. When setting up a new wallet, be sure to save the seed phrase—it's essential for recovering access to your wallet.

➡ **Funding Your Wallet with TRX**

After installing the wallet, you'll need to fund it with TRX (TRC-20 network). TRX is required for making swaps and covering network fees (gas). You can fund your wallet by transferring TRX from another wallet or purchasing it on a cryptocurrency exchange and sending it to your wallet. It's recommended to send a sufficient amount of TRX upfront to avoid unnecessary swaps and additional fees. Keep in mind that all transactions (withdrawals, swaps) involve network fees, so it's advisable to maintain at least 50 TRX in your wallet.

Once your wallet is set up and funded with TRX, you can proceed to swap TRX for MWD.  Detailed instructions for TrustWallet can be found below.

## Installing TrustWallet

Install the wallet and launch it by clicking the **Get Started** button.

If you already have a wallet, click the **Add Existing** button and import your wallet’s secret phrase.

To create a new wallet, click **Create a New Wallet**.

Select the option to create a wallet using a secret phrase, then click **Create**.

Select the method for saving the secret phrase: **Copy Manually**.

Carefully review the information, check the boxes, and click **Continue**.

On the screen, you will see a list of words—write them down in the exact order and keep them in a safe place. With this secret phrase, you can always recover access to your wallet. Without it, access will be lost.

Click **Continue**.

Confirm the secret phrase on the screen by answering the questions and entering the words from your secret phrase.

Click **Continue**, and your wallet will be created.

## Topping Up Your Wallet with TRX

On Bybit you can purchase **TRX** using **USDT** in the spot trading section (example: [how to buy any tokens or coins on Bybit](https://docs.daomars.com/f.a.q/mdao-token/buying-mdao-tokens/buying-mdao-on-bybit)).

Click on **Spot**, choose the **TRX/USDT** trading pair, select the order type, enter the amount, and click **Buy TRX**.

To withdraw from the exchange, go to the **Assets section** and click **Withdraw**.

In your TrustWallet, copy the address for receiving TRX and send the coins from the exchange to this address.

In the wallet, click **Receive** and choose the **TRX** coin to top up in the Tron network (TRC-20).

**Copy the address** and send the coins from the exchange to it.

**Here's how it works:** on the cryptocurrency exchange, when withdrawing funds, specify the coin you're withdrawing—TRX (Tron), the network TRC-20, your wallet address, and the withdrawal amount.

## Exchanging TRX for MWD

Once the assets are in your TrustWallet, you can proceed with the swap.

Verify the token contract in the pair and confirm, then click **Continue**.

Now, connect your wallet by clicking **Connect Wallet**.

Select **WalletConnect**.

Choose TrustWallet to connect.

Click **Connect**.

After connecting your wallet, specify the **amount of TRX** you want to spend on the exchange. **Make sure to leave some TRX for network fees.**

You will see the amount of MWD you will receive from the swap; click **Swap** to proceed.

Confirm with the **Confirm Swap** button.

**Approve the transaction** in your TrustWallet.

Done! After the swap, you will see a confirmation message.

## Add MWD to Your Wallet

Not all wallets display new tokens immediately, but you can add them manually.

Go to **Settings**.

Click **+**.

Select the **Tron network** and enter the **MWD contract address**: **TEfg1LnM3yApCjAgax35wDg6SRpmZFuQS3**

Fill in the remaining fields as shown in the example, and you're all set.

## Swapping MWD Back to TRX

To exchange MWD back to TRX, go back to the TrustWallet browser, open the [Sun.io](http://sun.io/) dApp from your history, or search for the swap page using this link:<https://sun.io/#/sun_swap/v2?t0=T9yD14Nj9j7xAB4dbGeiX9h8unkKHxuWwb&t1=TEfg1LnM3yApCjAgax35wDg6SRpmZFuQS3&type=swap>

Your wallet should already be connected. **Swap the positions** **of the tokens** by clicking the arrow, so MWD is in the top field and TRX is in the bottom field.

Enter **the amount of MWD** you want to swap and click **Swap**. Remember that any transaction requires network fees, so keep some TRX in your wallet.

In your wallet, confirm the use of your MWD for the swap and click **Confirm Swap** in the dApp.
