Astra Wallet Security

Since its launch in July 2021, Astra Wallet has demonstrated clear advantages—fast transactions, user-friendly functionality, and high security. With Astra Wallet, you can buy cryptocurrency in just a few minutes, all within Telegram, the only platform openly embracing the crypto and blockchain industry.

Astra Wallet is designed as a convenient tool for managing crypto assets and personal digital finances. Secure messaging applications like Telegram help protect user identities, making the platform a safe environment for crypto transactions.

Due to the introduction of new features and the growing popularity of Astra Wallet, we have compiled this article to address the most pressing security questions.

When discussing Astra Wallet security, the first priority is securing your Telegram account. At a minimum, users should enable two-factor authentication (2FA)—a must-have for every Telegram user, regardless of their crypto activity.

Your Telegram account can be hacked through SMS code interception or other methods. Limiting access to your messenger and regularly reviewing your active sessions is crucial. If you’ve logged into Telegram on a device you no longer own, you should remove the session immediately.

We strongly recommend enabling 2FA protection for wallet transactions. Instructions can be found in the 2FA Authentication section.

Many users ask why they do not have access to their wallet seed phrase. In the current version of Astra Wallet, users cannot access their seed phrase. Private keys are stored securely on an encrypted server and each private key is individually encrypted with a unique user identifier.

Importantly, a hacker can only gain access to your Astra Wallet if you provide it to them.

Understanding the basic principles of financial security is crucial—just like traffic laws, they help prevent unwanted situations.

A high level of digital and financial literacy contributes to a better quality of life, a more stable economy, and better public welfare. Educated consumers of digital financial products are less likely to fall victim to fraud.

  • Avoid suspicious websites.

  • Always verify sources.

  • Never share your credentials with third parties.

🔒 Can a hacker access Astra Wallet servers, intercept data, and steal funds?

In theory, this is only possible in the following scenarios:

  • Gaining server access

  • Gaining database access

Server access is strictly limited—only a trusted circle has access. All data is encrypted and additionally protected. We use only top-tier secure providers.

Database access without server access is also impossible. The database is encrypted, and private keys are further encrypted with a unique user-generated identifier.

These private keys are never shared or made publicly accessible.

So, how secure is Astra Wallet on Telegram?

Astra Wallet is as secure as possible, provided you follow the security recommendations above.

Stay alert and enjoy using Astra Wallet!
