# Security settings

In this section you can change your wallet security settings.

PIN code settings. A PIN code request will be sent every time you log in to the app, perform an import, creation, deletion of the wallet, or make a transaction.

To set a PIN code, navigate to the settings, tap on the " ፧ " icon and go to the "Security" section.

Set the PIN code by moving the toggle switch to the right. Make up a four-digit PIN code, enter and repeat the PIN code.

Password settings. A password request will be sent each time you log in to the application, perform an import, creation, deletion of the wallet, or make a transaction.

Set the password by moving the toggle switch to the right.

Make up a password in accordance with the specified conditions, enter the password, and tap the "Set password" button. 

Use the strongest possible password consisting of:

* at least 6 characters
* Latin letters only
* minimum 1 uppercase letter
* minimum 1 uppercase letter
* minimum 1 number

Repeat the password and tap on "Set Password".

Setting the app's activity auto-lock. To set the lockout time, tap the "Auto Lock" button and select a suitable lockout interval. 

The app's auto-lock will terminate an active session after the specified time interval.

Enabling biometrics. You can set up a biometrics-based login in the app. 

If your device supports Face ID or has a fingerprint reader, you can set up biometric authentication for convenience and additional protection against unauthorized access.

To enable biometric authentication, set up the PIN code as described in the "PIN Code Settings" section.

Once the PIN is enabled, the Biometrics tab will appear in the Security section. Flip the toggle switch to the active position and authenticate to activate it.

If necessary, grant permissions in the device settings to use your camera.
