Token Claim Guide for UMOJA

MDAO Maker users can independently unlock their UMOJA tokens at any time, subject to vesting conditions. For this, UMJA-SEED tokens are credited to the ZAVOD Wallet. These tokens grant the right to unlock the main UMJA tokens.

Preparing to Claim UMJA Tokens

Transferring UMJA-SEED Tokens to MetaMask Start by transferring UMJA-SEED tokens from your ZAVOD Wallet to a non-custodial wallet, such as MetaMask. Guide to setting up MetaMask: Instruction link

Funding Ethereum Balance in the Arbitrum Network You will need a small amount of Ethereum to cover transaction fees, usually 0.000001–0.000005 ETH.

  1. Open the Wallet section in ZAVOD Wallet.

  2. Find the Arbitrum network

  1. Click Deposit.

  2. Copy your wallet address

  1. Send Ethereum to it.

Sending UMJA-SEED to MetaMask

  1. In ZAVOD Wallet, select the Umoja Seed Round token in the Arbitrum network.

  2. Click Withdraw.

  1. Enter your MetaMask address in the Wallet field.

  2. In the Amount field, click Max or specify the desired amount. Note: 1 UMJA-SEED = 1 UMJA.

  3. Confirm the transfer.

Claiming UMJA Tokens

Once UMJA-SEED tokens are transferred to MetaMask, follow these steps:

Connect MetaMask to the Vesting Website

  1. Connect your MetaMask wallet.

  2. If using the mobile version of MetaMask, access the website through MetaMask's internal browser. Guide for using the internal browser: Instruction link.

Claiming the Tokens

  1. On the website, click Claim UMJA.

  2. In the Umoja Seed Round section, click VIEW DETAILS.

  1. If your wallet contains UMJA-SEED tokens, the CLAIM UMJA button will become available.

  2. Confirm the transaction. The UMJA tokens will be sent to your MetaMask wallet.

Note: Each claim transaction requires a fee in Ethereum within the Arbitrum network. Users can decide how often to claim their tokens.
