Settings
This section allows you to change the language and enable two-factor authentication.
Change of language
Astra Wallet follows your system and Telegram language settings by default, but you can manually adjust it.
Go to Settings.
Click Language and choose from the available options.
Click Save Changes.
2FA
Astra Wallet offers 2FA authentication to enhance transaction security and strengthen user responsibility over their credentials.
When enabling 2FA authentication, always save your recovery keys! If the authenticator app fails, access can only be restored using these keys.
Enabling 2FA
To enable 2FA, use the Google Authenticator app.
Go to Settings and tap 2FA Security.
Follow the on-screen instructions.
Download or open the Google Authenticator app, tap Continue.
Scan the QR code or copy the security key.
Be sure to write down or save the security key in a safe place that is not accessible to third parties.
In the Google Authenticator app, tap âž•.
Enter the name of your account for which you are setting up protection (think of and write any name associated with the wallet).
Enter the security key from Astra Wallet.
You can set the key type to Time-based, in which case the codes will be synchronized with the time on your device.
Then click the Add button.
Done! 2FA for your Astra Wallet account has been added to the Google Authenticator app.
You will need the six-digit passcode later to enable 2FA, disable 2FA, and confirm transactions.
Enter the six-digit passcode added for your Astra Wallet account to complete the 2FA setup.
Each outbound transaction with 2FA enabled will require an authorization code from the Google Authenticator app.
